How Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Can Drive Profit and Build Community
Friday, January 25, 2019
I’m really pleased our podcast provides a forum for addressing issues of race, equity and inclusion, and how in this episode we discuss how focusing on those factors and diversity can drive profit and build community.
Our guest Glynn Lloyd leads Eastern Bank’s Foundation for Business Equity and explains the importance of building wealth and equity in communities of color. He is also the founder of City Fresh Foods in Massachusetts and addresses how “we get fresher, local food into the school system. Glynn is joined by Chef Tracy Chang (PAGU) who describes her interest “in the collaboration that brings together food and the community.”
For a great conversation about how to address the growing wealth gap in underserved communities, listen at our website or on iTunes. Thanks, and as always, please share.
